Ventdouxprod is a blog of independent journalism that smashes the philosophical, psychological and stylistic barriers and boundaries of conventional journalism.
Ventdouxprod focuses primarily on the environment connected with economics, identities and laws. It also addresses economic, philosophical, political and social issues among others.
Method
From my experience at university and my PhD in geography (summa cum laude), I only kept the best elements. That is why my articles and investigations are based on a scientific method which generally breaks down into four successive steps:
- The collection, selection and synthesis of relevant sources (e.g., governmental, legal and scientific data and documents; interviews; the press in general);
- The drafting of arguments on the subject at hand;
- The drafting of a plan;
- The formatting for a broad audience, including all the detailed bibliographical references: you can verify the reliability of all my sources, paragraph after paragraph.
If I want to remain transparent as a journalist, I consider this effort on my sources to be necessary.
Moreover, ventdouxprod cannot be compared with typical academic work or scientific research, the vast majority of which puts off most readers. Despite the complexity of the issues that I address, I strive to make your reading experience as pleasant as possible.
Protection of people who provide confidential sources
I strictly protect the persons who want to remain anonymous when they give me information. Once I make sure that the information is reliable, I mention « confidential sources » in my bibliographical references.
