When your life is led by fear
WHEN YOUR LIFE IS LED BY FEAR (of unemployment, lack of a certain amount of money or material comfort), instead of what needs to be done to live well, you become some kind of ghost, not really living, just eaten up by your own fear and insecurity. So you end up embracing the fear and violence that hurt you in the first place.
Over time, and unless you change, you gradually become spiritually dead, just doing some stuff and some work waiting to die, in fear, no matter how good you are at hiding your fear.
