IN REALITY, IT IS AS MUCH ABOUT MILLIONAIRES as it is about billionaires. Nobody needs millions of dollars. Millionaires want millions to build a private walls around themselves because their pillows full of money make them feel secure like little babies afraid of losing their parents. It is just another fake protection to cover wealthy peoples’ fears of their perceived enemies (e.g., migrants, the poor, Indigenous peoples claiming the return of treaty lands). Restricting U.S. inequality problems to billionaires is bizarre and an obvious lie for people who want to keep at all costs an American dream based on a socially and environmentally destructive lifestyle. If most Americans still dream of being millionaires, they still endorse deep inequity, large-scale pollution, global warming, social hate, etc.
